In the last weekend, K-drama is under intense battle to see which K-drama ratings have the highest audiences coverage in South Korea which included the newly premiered K-drama such as “Three Bold Siblings” etc.

A lot of New and Hot Drama Release Joined the K-drama Ratings

On September 24, KBS 2TV's new drama “Three Bold Siblings” premiered with the highest ratings of the night. The first episode of the series averaged 20.5 percent nationwide, making it the most-watched show on all channels on Saturday, according to Nielsen Korea.

Three Bold Siblings” is a romance drama where the A-list actor Im Joo Hwan starred Lee Sang Joon who is the eldest son of the family. When he has an accident during filming, he reunites with his first love in elementary school, Kim Tae Joo (Lee Ha Na), who is also the eldest of her siblings and has sacrificed everything for her family.

Meanwhile, another new drama from JTBC's “The Empire” got off to a quieter start last night which premiered with a national average of 2.4%. Starring Kim Sun Ah and Ahn Jae Wook, the drama follows the private lives and dark secrets of the ambitious “royalty” who rule South Korea's most prestigious legal circles.

SBS' “A Dollar Lawyer” had strong ratings on its premiere the night before, and its second episode climbed to a national average of 8.5 percent, making it the most-watched miniseries of the night. Namgoong Min who starred in the new drama also continued to perform well among the key demographic audience of 20 to 49-year-olds, scoring an average rating of 3.1%.

MBC’s “The Golden Spoon,” which stars BTOB’s Yook Sungjae and premiered at the same time as “One Dollar Lawyer,” jumped to 7.4 percent nationwide, with a dramatical increase of more than 2 percent for the second episode.

In the face of all this new competition, tvN’s “Little Women” entered its second half, with the national average dropping to 6.0%. However, despite the drop, the hit series still remains No. 1 in its time slot across all cable channels.

Finally, the national average for episode 4 of tvN’s “Blind” edged up to 2.6%.
