Chinese actor Kris Wu was arrested in Beijing in August last year for sex crime and was sentenced this morning (25th) to 11 years and 6 months in prison, plus deportation, for rape. He was also sentenced to 1 year and 10 months in prison for public disorder. Altogether he was sentenced for 13 years.

The court found that Wu Yifan’s actions constituted the crimes of rape and public lewdness and therefore pronounced the sentence by the law.
Wu’s Weibo account was blocked after the case, and his endorsements were lost.
