MUDA president Saddiq and PSM chairman Dr Michael Jeyakumar Devaraj have signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective parties, announcing that they will be working together in the upcoming six state elections. This means that the two parties have reached a consensus on the allocation of constituencies for the state elections and there will be no conflict.

Jaguar Guma said they would not overlap regarding seats in the state elections, and both parties agreed not to crash over seats. He hoped that the cooperation between the two parties would bring about a cleaner political climate in the country.

Saddiq said this partnership between the two parties is a historic moment for the pair. Whether win or lose, MUDA will be with the PSM.
