Vice-president of PAS Mohd Amar Abdullah said, PAS still willing to cooperate with Umno under Muafakat Nasional to deal with the upcoming GE15 yesterday (11th May).

Mohd Amar, also the deputy menteri besar of Kelantan, said, PAS is also open to work with any parties that supporting Malay and Islamic agenda, and preventing Pakatan Harapan from returning to power.

PAS still willing to work with Umno

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had stated that the cooperation between Umno and PAS will be set aside during GE15.

Vice-president of PAS Amar also commenting, “If UMNO review on PAS earlier stance and decides to cooperate with PAS again, we will be ready anytime.” He also emphasized that when Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob became our prime minister, PAS did not withdraw their support for Umno. If PAS wanted to betray Umno, PAS would withdraw their support for Umno at that time.

At the end, the vice-president of PAS said: “The challenges come from different places, while strengthening the cooperation and unity among Muslims is the best remedy.”
